ZIV completes the commissioning of the “El Aliagar” Solar Park Substation Automation System (SAS)
- A complete SAS equipped with the latest generation of ZIV IEDs
- For the new Forestalia Photovoltaic Park
- That will generate clean energy equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of about twenty-nine thousand homes.
ZIV has supplied Forestalia’s solar plant 132/30kV substation with a protection system similar to the one previously installed for Forestalia in the wind farms of the “Cluster de Valdejalón”. In addition to supplying the equipment, ZIV has performed the logic engineering services, the factory acceptance tests (FAT) and has recently completed the field commissioning.
The 48.7 MW solar plant has a surface area of 105 hectares. It is expected to annually produce the energy equivalent to the electricity consumption of about twenty-nine thousand homes. This is the latest addition to the Aragon region which is near to Catalonia and generates renewable energy resources of 7,000MW of wind generation and 8,500MW of photovoltaics.
